Bulletin Board

Are you trying to sell something... why not let us help you? Give us a picture and we will add it to our bulletin board, or if there is already a posting online we will be glad to add it to our resident link section.

Join us February 10th in the clubhouse from 4-6 to make a valentine for your valentine! We will have supplies for chocolate covered strawberries and cards, so all you will have to bring is your creativity. We look forward to seeing you there!

Welcome to Bryony's Books!

I am an avid reader and love to hear about what books my friends have read that stuck with them. I usually read one to two books a week and have lots of recommendations. I am by no means a book critic but would like to share some of my favorite books with you:

I have to start out with a romance novel because they were my first love and began my love of books. It is a book titled A Knight in Shining Armour by Jude Deveraux. It is about a young woman abandonded by her lover and finds herself alone and brokenhearted in an old English church. Thouroughly modern Dougless Montogomery never dreamed that a love more powerful than time awaited her there until Nicholoas Stafford, Earl of Thornwhyck, appeared. Drawn to him by a bond so sudden and compelling that it defied reason, Dougless knew that Nicholas was nothing less than a miracle. But she could not know how strong were the chains that tied them to the past or the grand adventure that lay before them.

This love story is so profound it has stuck with me since the first time I read it back in 1989. I am a sucker for sweet love stories and this is one of the best! When you finish this one, try Mountain Laurel also by Jude Devereax.
